3rd line IT Engineer
Location: Cosham, Portsmouth

We are currently looking to recruit a 3rd line IT Engineer to take on a senior role within our support team.

We’re looking for someone with a flexible approach to undertake new project work as well as general user and infrastructure support.

The successful candidate will be a good team player, must demonstrate excellent inter personal skills when communicating with both clients and fellow employees and have a drive and ambition to succeed. Client and case ownership is imperative as the role involves client facing elements.

An extensive knowledge of the following is essential:

- Microsoft Windows Server – all versions

- Microsoft Exchange – all versions

- Active Directory

- Group Policy

- Server Virtualisation

- IP networking and routing configuration

In addition to these, experience of Microsoft SQL Server, Citrix or Cisco would be beneficial.

As the role entails visits to various client sites a valid clean driver’s license is also required.

Finally, the candidate must have demonstrated a pro-active and positive attitude to training and new technologies, have a minimum of 4 years’ experience of working in a 3rd line IT support or project role and have skills in designing and building new environments.
