Fibre
If you need to have instant access to your files or you are working on streaming large documents across your network, not a problem, we can install a high speed fibre backbone to your network. This will provide the fastest possible data transfer between your servers and make your data available to you as soon as possible.
Lasers
Have you just acquired another building in your business park; are you not allowed or don’t want the expense/hassle of digging up the road to lay cabling to your other building? We can install a super fast invisible laser link between your buildings that can provide connectivity for computers and phones to your other building. Lasers are typically mounted far from reach under the eaves of your building minimising interruption but also looking like a security camera, such is the design.
Ethernet structured cabling
Whether you are planning on moving into a new building, expanding or simply need additional network points in your building you will almost certainly need extra network points. We can provide both Cat5 and Cat6 Ethernet ports that enable your users to access your network at the best possible speeds for your backbone.
Managed wireless solutions
If you have several buildings or more than 3 floors in your business and you work with laptops you will almost certainly have had a problem with wireless network access at some point. We have installed several fully managed wireless systems for clients who wish to have seamless wireless access between several buildings and across several floors. This provides your business with one wireless ID for all buildings and you will remain connected to the closest access point with the strongest signal meaning that you always get the best experience possible.
Failover & load balanced systems
Are you in an area that suffers from poor internet speed or frequent disconnections? Do you want to make sure that if your internet line goes down you are still able to function? You need to look at a failover or load balancing system.
Failover: If you have problems with being cut off from your ADSL due to provider or environmental conditions you should probably consider a broadband failover system. These systems seamlessly manage two connections so that if one should fail then the other will take over and pick up the slack. It is recommended to get two types of line for this system; ADSL and DSL or ADSL and HSDPA wireless would be two examples. This way you are protected by a provider/exchange outage.
Load balancing: If you suffer from poor internet speed you could combine two or more ADSL lines by a process called ‘bonding’. If you are not able to do this you can easily load balance your internet usage across two or more concurrent ADSL or DSL connections using a load balancing router. If you can’t get another ADSL/DSL line you could even use a 3G/HSDPA USB stick from a provider like Vodafone to increase your broadband capacity!
Traffic monitoring/control
Are your users spending hours on Facebook or Hotmail websites? If so, you can control this with network traffic monitoring software/hardware. We have installed several such systems for schools and financial institutes that need to limit user access to websites that run contrary to the businesses interests or could be used to leak information etc.
